Staircase & wood refinishing, answered.
“Paul’s team was professional, thorough, responsive, and very hard working. They had some challenging tasks ahead of them: painting dark, intricate wood pieces a much lighter colour, repairing plaster walls, and removing wallpaper and patching and sanding the walls before painting. They ensured all surfaces were properly prepared, thus ensuring superior results. We were very pleased with the transformation of the family home.”
Can you paint an oak staircase white?
Yes, it is one of our most common jobs. Oak needs a good sand and the right primer so the grain and tannins don’t bleed through.
Can you match a stain to new floors?
Yes. On one Toronto staircase we took natural wood to white, then matched the stain to brand-new flooring in a two-step process.
