Hi, I’m Paul.
I paint every home like it’s the one my family lives in.
I’ve spent more than 25 years with a brush in my hand. I started Marchesseau Custom Finishes so I could do the work the way I think it should be done: a small crew, honest prices, and me on every job.

My story
I’d rather do fewer jobs and do them right.
I’ve been painting for more than 25 years. I started Marchesseau Custom Finishes to do the work the way I think it should be done: a small crew, careful prep, the best paint, and me on every job.
Over the years I’ve painted everything from family homes in Etobicoke to luxury boutiques at Yorkdale overnight, a Nike space at the Eaton Centre and, most recently, the Arc’teryx store at CF Markville. I’ve been on HGTV’s Property Brothers and on Cityline.
The job I care most about is the next one. One family had us paint their interior, then called us back three years later for the whole exterior. Another had us paint their house on Riverside Drive, then their new penthouse at Parklawn and Lakeshore. That only happens when the work is right.

A three-day pop-up in 2018 with five custom Nike colours across 850 sq ft, then back in 2021 for bold teal and orange feature walls.

On the Cityline set
Called in at the last minute to paint the Cityline set for the new season.
A 4,000 sq ft custom home in 3 weeks
Full interior, staircase refinish, popcorn ceilings removed and every kitchen cabinet sprayed white.

Not a salesperson, not a project coordinator. You have my number and you’ll see me on site.

Prep is the job.
Sanding, filling, priming, taping a perfect line. The paint is the easy part. Shortcuts show up in a month.

Your home stays clean.
Floors and furniture covered, vacuum sanding where we can, and a tidy site at the end of every day.

I tell you the truth.
A free quote, a clear finish date, and an honest answer if something isn’t worth doing.
