The brief
A character home with dark stained trim on every window, door and baseboard, and beige walls that made the rooms feel heavy.
The living room windows, before and after.

BEFOREAFTERHow we did it
All the stained trim got a coat of shellac-based primer first, so the old stain can’t bleed through the new paint. Then every piece of trim was painted by hand, and the walls were painted top to bottom.
The result
Bright, calm rooms that let the windows and the hardwood floors stand out.
The living room windows, before and after.

Screenshot it, take it to the paint store, or ask Paul to use the same palette in your home.
